Several pupils at Chavagnes International College, the Catholic boarding school for boys situated in western France, are proud to be studying six different languages: four modern and two ancient.

One of the boys, Paul de Guibert, a French boy of  12, said he found that having to swtich between Latin, Greek, German, Spanish, English and French … was not difficult at all ‘once you get used to it.’
