The Milwaukee and Wisconsin Journal Sentinel carries a report on St. Lawrence Seminary High School in Mount Calvary in Fond du Lac County, Wisconsin.  Featuring interviews with boys, staff and former pupils, the article highlights the way in which St Lawrence has had to adapt to survive.

Although the focus has shifted from junior priestly formation to leadership training, the the Friars who run the school still encourage boys to think about the priesthood, and through community programs where students work with the poor and under-privileged, they keep alive the Franciscan ethos of poverty and simplicity. Thanks to St Lawrence’s financial aid scheme, the school’s intake, according to its headmaster, includes the sons of mulltimillionaires and former homeless people.
