Following various closures and changes in the UK, the last surviving senior school for boys in the Catholic independent sector and offering GCSE and A-level examinations is Chavagnes International College, set up about twenty years in western France.

With origins going back to a 13th century Benedictine priory and a later minor seminary, the international college now welcomes boys aged 10 to 18 from the UK, continental Europe and worldwide, all studying for UK public examinations.
